My Vision for the Courts

My vision for our courts, and our community, is a judicial system that serves everyone! I am dedicated to providing justice for all, expanding access to the justice system, and seeking feedback from the community on how we can improve our courts and the way they operate.

My Role as Judge

As judge, I will be committed to upholding the Constitution all State Laws. I will serve as the bridge between the community and the bench (the court). It will be my responsibility to educate the community on a judge's role, to ensure the public that my rulings are impartial and free from bias, and to encourage transparency in our court system amongst participants.

As judge, I will provide balanced and informed decisions, rooted in my extensive experience in a variety of legal areas, including:

  • Real estate law
  • Landlord/Tenant Law (Residential/Commercial)
  • Criminal law
  • Family law
  • Complex civil litigation
  • Securitized trusts
  • Uniform Commercial Code
  • Bankruptcy law
  • Appellate practice in both the State and Federal Courts
My attendance and education at the National Judicial College, and my arguments at the State Supreme Court have also well prepared me for this role.

Did you know?

66% (2/3) of Snohomish County's cases are civil cases! I am the candidate with the most diverse experience representing individuals in civil cases, well preparing me to serve as a judge presiding over these cases for our community.
